A long time ago, in the vast African savannah, giraffes had short necks just like people. They roamed the land, munching on grass and low-hanging leaves. Among them was a particularly curious giraffe named Gigi. One sunny day, Gigi's friend, Chicken, decided to play a little trick. Chicken knew that Gigi loved palm leaf soup more than anything else in the world. So, Chicken made a big pot of the delicious soup and hid it high up in the tallest tree. When Gigi caught the scent of the soup, her mouth watered, and she couldn't resist. She looked up at the tree and saw the pot of soup perched on a high branch. Determined to taste it, Gigi began to stretch her neck. She stretched and stretched, but the soup was still out of reach. Gigi didn't give up. She kept stretching her neck higher and higher until, finally, she managed to get her head into the tree. But as she tried to take a sip, her head got stuck between the branches! Poor Gigi was trapped. For 100 years, Gigi remained stuck in the tree. The other animals tried to help, but it took a long time to figure out how to free her. Eventually, they worked together and managed to rescue Gigi. When she was finally free, Gigi's neck had become incredibly long from all that stretching. From that day on, all giraffes had long necks, just like Gigi. They could reach the highest leaves and enjoy the tastiest treats, all thanks to Gigi's love for palm leaf soup and her determination to reach it. And that's how the giraffe got its long neck.

this is a story about an author named Mr Thomas who creates and writes a book that took him so many years to create. a little boy named Toby goes to the book shop with his mum to get this book because he has wanted it for so long. Toby's mum buys him the book for him unfortunately Toby didn't take good care of the book so it got torn and wet. one day Mr Thomas decided to host a fair for the children who had gotten the book he created and the gate fee was going to be his neatly preserved book. all the children had to do was to present the book they had bought with no torn pages but neatly preserved. you can imagine the disappointment when Mr Thomas saw Toby's book. Mr Thomas had to express how he felt to Toby and told all the children all what it entailed to create that book.

1. John Jr and Hopsi was trying to figure out the virtue of hope. They went and asked John Jr's Mom to help them understand it better. John Jr's Mom sat down and said that she would explain hope to them. 2. John Jr's mom said hope was a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. She said it is when we really want something to happen. She said we cherish our desires with an expectation in order to have hope. 3. John Jr's Mom urged John Jr and Hopsi to think about the future and to make plans. She said that envisioning a brighter or better future would allow John Jr and Hopsi to stay optimistic. 4. John Jr's Mom explained the types of hope. Material Hope, which is the sense of control when given the resources to deal with forces that affect everyday lives; Socractic Hope, which provides opportunities to question the unjust society; and Audacious Hope, which provides us strength through Christ , so we don't loose heart. The book of Isaiah in the Bible says we need to be Fearless and bold with our Audacious Hope. 5. John Jr found in the Bible the verse Romans 15:13 ~ "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would always stay hopeful. They decided that they would start praying for a better tomorrow.

One day there was this kid named Xayden. Xayden went to the park one day and wanted to shoot some basketball. There was one issue though, he wasn’t very good at basketball. In fact Xayden wasn’t good at all. Some other guys saw him missing and started laughing at him. They made fun of him and started calling him names. When they left, a kid named Blaise went over to Xayden and asked him if he wanted help to get better at basketball. Xayden was lit up with joy and immediately said yes! Xayden did some drills with Blaise and started making his shots. After working with Blaise almost every shot seemed to go Xaydens way. The next day, the same guys that were making fun of Xayden came back to the park. Xayden wanted to show them how good he was, so he asked them if they wanted to play a game. Xayden was obliterating them , doing behind the back, in between the legs, shooting threes, layups, and making all of them! Xayden and Blaise ended up winning and one of the guys even ran away. The other guy couldn’t except defeat and said “ Well…well… I’m still better than you!”. Xayden became a great basketball player.

On a sunny morning, Lucas and his playful dog Cody set off to explore the river near their village. The water sparkled under the sun, and Lucas couldn’t resist jumping in. One sunny day, under a shady tree, sat Mango, Apple and Orange. The three of them were best friends who always played together. Green leaves swayed gently in the breeze, and birds happily chirped happily on the branches. Apple, who was picking a small flower from the grass, smiled excitedly. ‘Why don't we go explore that green meadow over there?’ she suggested, pointing towards the fresh green expanse stretching not far from under the tree where they were staying. Enthusiastically, the three of them walked towards the vast green meadow. The sun shone warmly above their heads, and beautiful flowers bloomed all around, creating a colourful scene. Every now and then they stopped to admire the fluttering butterflies. After walking for some distance, Mango's eyes suddenly caught sight of something glittering in the grass. ‘Look at that!’ she exclaimed, pointing. Apple and Orange rushed over to Mango. There, in the undergrowth, was a medium-sized, gold-coloured stone that glittered amongst the greenery. The stone was very beautiful, as if it had been chiselled by the hand of a god. ‘Let's take it back to our tree.’ However, when they tried to lift it, it was heavier than they thought. Mango and Orange pulled, Apple pushed the rock slowly. They struggled persistently. Although they were tired, they did not give up. They encouraged each other and laughed. Finally, after a tiring journey, they managed to carry the golden stone to the bottom of the tree where they stopped. When the stone was placed on the ground, it reflected beautifully. The three of them sat by the stone, enjoying the fruits of their labour. From that day on, the golden stone became a symbol of their friendship.
