Когда Золушка убегала с бала, она потеряла туфельку, которую нашел принц, и решил отыскать девушку, в которую он влюбился. Это была Золушка. Он много бродил по свету, и когда совсем отчаялся, он зашел в дом, где жила Золушка, но пред ним предстали только ее сводные сестры. Они очень хотели выйти замуж за принца, но туфелька не подошла им. Принц уже собирался уходить, но тут услышал голос девушки. Он попросил хозяйку дома, злую мачеху, позвать третью дочь. Когда Золушка надела туфельку, она снова превратилась в принцессу. Принц узнал ее и забрал к себе в замок.
