Every day after school, Chensan would go play at the gate of the ancestral hall. The moss-covered ancient stone steps in front of the hall was where Chensan liked to jump around, pretending he was a dragon. Chensan's best playmate was Meihu, a girl from the neighboring village who grew up there. They often went together to the Tianhou Temple in Longxue Head to play, looking at the candles and offerings in front of the statues. Chensan found everything in the Tianhou Temple novel. It was Chensan's first time entering the majestic shrine hall, and he was amazed. Under the light of the flames, the glittering wall paintings appeared one by one before his eyes. After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown. As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. Scene 2 The friends entered the hot desert. Benny, Finn, and Sophie ran ahead while Toby walked slowly. Suddenly, the three stepped into soft, sinking sand. “It’s quicksand!” shouted Sophie, as they tried to escape but got stuck. Scene 3 Toby saw his friends in trouble and found a strong stick nearby. “Hold on!” Toby shouted as he reached the edge of the quicksand. He used the stick to pull them out, one by one. “Thank you, Toby!” said Finn. “You saved us!” Scene 4 After the quicksand, the friends worked as a team. Scene 5 Finally, they found the treasure chest just as the sun was setting. Its golden glow sparkled in the soft light. “We made it!” shouted Benny. Ezra, Leo, Mummy, Daddy, Moo and Pops went to Studland beach in Dorset, England. They could see Old Harry Rock in the background., Ezra was digging in the sand when he suddenly said “Daddy there is something really hard in here”. Daddy dug and dug and suddenly they found black volcanic rocks from a million years ago. Ezra collected two pink buckets of volcanic rocks. When they took them home Ezra put them next to his bed. While he slept they started to glow. The next morning they were glowing so brightly. The whole family held hands and rubbed the stones. Suddenly they were taken back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The dinosaurs were friendly. Ezra rode with Mummy on the back of a Brachiosaurus, Leo rode with Daddy on the back of a Triceratoos, and Moo and Pops each rode on Stegosaurus. The played all kinds of games with the dinosaurs. They helped one dinosaur to hatch from an egg. They also helped to feed a baby dinosaur. As it got dark it was time to go home. The all held hands and rubbished the black volcanic rocks again and were transported back in time to day.
