She was made to by her mother who said, “You must invite Etisha since she is new. She can make new friends.” And she did. Mishika and Etisha were inseparable since that day! What bonded them was a hamster. When Mishika went to Etisha’s house, she saw her out in the garden chasing a tiny brown hamster. To her surprise, Etisha shouted at her, “Will you just stand there and stare or you might want to help too. Come and get this little thing.” Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Mr. Naidoo and his daughter Reshnee enjoyed a trip to the mall. Excited, Reshnee ran ahead as they entered. Finally, they bought ice cream, with Reshnee joyfully choosing strawberry, concluding their pleasant day out.

As the day went on, more people joined in. Soon, everyone was helping. Some brought brooms, others brought gloves. Even the birds seemed to sing louder as the park became cleaner. After hours of working together, the park was clean! The tree now stood tall and proud, with no trash around it. “We did it!” said Aum. “When we help others, we can do anything!” The friends felt proud of their hard work. “When we work together, we can do great things,” said Viaana. “We’ll always help others!” The tree swayed in the breeze, happy with its new clean home. From that day on, Viaana and her friends promised to always help others. They learned that with willpower, teamwork, and kindness, they could do anything, no matter how big or small!
