I am Luca. I am four years old, and I just started Kindy. It is exciting, but also a little bit scary. There are so many new things—new teachers, new friends, and a big new playground! Every morning, my grown-up walks me to the Kindy room. Some days, I feel happy. Other days, I feel nervous and want to stay longer. When I feel worried, my tummy feels funny, and I want to cry. Mrs. Kubicek showed me the Zones of Regulation chart. She told me feeling worried is the blue zone, and that it is okay. To feel better, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or give a big hug before saying, “See you later!” When I miss my family, I remember that they love me always, and I will see them again soon when I get home. This helps me feel safe. When I get to the Kindy room, I put my bag, crunch and sip, and water bottle in their places. This helps me get ready for the day. Before Kindy starts, I can play with the trucks and puzzles. Sometimes, I do this with Mum or Dad before they say goodbye. That helps me feel braver. Recess and Lunch At recess, all the children go outside to eat and play. I feel nervous and stay near the wall. Mrs. Kubicek notices and says, “Luca, would you like to sit with Milani and Bodhi?” I nod. Milani and Bodhi smile and say, “Come sit with us!” That makes me feel good inside. I move into the green zone—calm and happy! Sometimes, I want to stay with Mrs. Kubicek at recess and lunch. But when she leaves, I feel sad. She reminds me that it is important to play with my friends. I take a deep breath, press my hug button, and find Milani and Bodhi. Once I start playing, I feel much better! At the end of the day, I pack my bag and sit on the mat. When I see my grown-up waiting, I run to give them a big hug. “How was your day?” they ask.I smile and say, “I played with Milani and Bodhi.” Each day, I feel a little braver. If I feel nervous, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or ask for help. Kindy is full of adventures, and I am ready for them all!

Ruby and Luka walks into the basketball court for Lucas basketball grand final. Luka warms up he is full of excitement and a little anxious Ruby pick up on it. So she went up to Luka and said I see you have butterflies, butterflies equal excitement don’t fear Luka breathe you’ve done this all before. So Luka feeling reinvigorated went out and played the best game of his life in the fourth quarter. Brady was cheering on from the side by saying go Luka go go Luka go And three seconds to go. The score was 52. All Luka had the ball. He dribble to the hoop and he did a slam dunk to win. Benny's Big Day One sunny morning, Benny thought it was a great day for a fun adventure. "Today is a big day!" Benny said with a big smile. He packed his bag with yummy snacks: bananas, blueberries, and berry juice. Benny Meets Bella the Bunny As Benny walked in the forest, he heard a noise. "What is that?" Benny wondered. He followed the sound and found Bella the Bunny, hopping around a bush. Bella had lost her favorite ball. "Hi, Bella!" Benny said. "Can I help you find your ball?" Bella smiled and nodded. The Search for the Blue Ball Benny and Bella started looking for the ball. They checked behind big rocks, under bright flowers, and next to the bubbling stream. Finally, Benny saw something shiny in the grass. It was Bella's blue ball! "Thank you, Benny!" Bella cheered. "You are the best bear!" Benny felt happy to help his friend. A Berry Picnic To celebrate, Benny and Bella had a berry picnic. They sat under a big tree and shared the bananas, blueberries, and berry juice. While they ate, they talked and laughed, happy to be friends. Benny's Brave Return As the sun set, Benny knew it was time to go home. "Goodbye, Bella! See you soon!" Benny waved as he walked back through the forest. He felt proud of his adventure and looked forward to the next fun day. And so, Benny the Brave Bear went to bed with a tummy full of berries and a heart full of joy. The end.

Lizzy and Beth were huge fans of Halloween, which allowed them to explore and understand its true meaning, spend time trick-or-treating with their families, and drink and eat marshmallows covered in dark chocolate with a hint of cinnamon.

John Jr noticed Vasi carried a special magic wand. John Jr was curious and wanted to know more about Vasi wand. 3. Vasi git his hand for his 5th Birthday from his grandpa. Vasi didn't realize that the wand was magical until he was almost 10. He said he stumbled upon it. He has learned the wand direct energy at a person or object for healing or the wand can change into other items, grow, vanish, or move. 3. Vasi did a trick where flowers started shooting out of the wand. Vasi then placed the wand on John Jr's blue shirt and then changed the shirt to green. John Jr was very impressed. 4. John Jr and Vasi went on a hike at the park. Vasi told John Jr the types of trees and flowers that they saw. Vasi showed John Jr a shortcut back to the playground. 5. John Jr played on the teeter toter together and then played on the slide. They had a blast together and became best friends. 6. Vasi seemed very wise and taught John Jr some safety tips while playing. It was dinner time and John Jr invited Vasi to join him. Vasi accepted John Jr invitation and they walked home together.
