They also put a notice In the local newspaper. 6. It was the day of John Jr and Hopsi's charitable event. They set up a table with a jar for cash donations. They put out empty boxes for any supplies. Many people came by to drop off donations. The event brought in $3500 and 5 big boxes of an assortment of supplies. The supplies included backpacks, notebooks, coloring and writing supplies and glue. I was ecstatic, blowing bubbles left and right, spreading joy all day long. The kids couldn't get enough of those magical orbs, chasing them around and giggling like there was no tomorrow. Even the grown-ups paused to admire the beauty of the floating spheres. As the day went on, more and more kids joined in on the fun, trying to catch and pop the bubbles with their noses or by hand.
