In a colorful elementary classroom, Mr. Darfi clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention. “Class, I have exciting news!” he announced with a bright smile. “Our new library corner is finally ready for you to explore!” 2. A chorus of cheers erupted as Micha, Christian, Peter, Abigail, Avisena, and Alvaro rushed toward the cozy corner filled with books. The shelves were lined with colorful covers, each one holding a new adventure. “Wow! So many books!” Micha exclaimed, running his fingers along the spines. The students took the books and read them. 3. After a while, he gathered them in a circle. “Let’s share our favorite parts,” he encouraged. Micha’s eyes sparkled. “I love the adventure! The boy in my book explores jungles and mountains.” Christian spread his arms like wings. “I wish I could fly too! Imagine soaring above the clouds.” “I want to grow my own magical garden,” Abigail said, clasping her hands together. “Wouldn’t it be amazing?” Peter sat up straight. “I’d love to be a brave prince, just like in my book.” Alvaro nudged Avisena. “The bear and the bird remind me of us. Even in rain, there’s mystery.” Lightning flashed, thunder roared , But they were safe, their hearts soared. “Under cover, we will stay, The storm will pass, then all is okay.” As the rain poured, they stayed snug, Koko felt like a lightning bug. With every flash, with every sound, She realized courage could be found. When the storm moved on, with a quiet cheer, The skies cleared up, the coast was clear. And high above, what did they spy? A rainbow painting the sky so high! Koko and Rabbit, with smiles so wide, Knew they were safe, no need to hide. With every storm that came to be, Days turned to sunshine, no more gloom, Koko and Rabbit, chased away the boom. In meadows they’d play, under the sun so bright, Their adventures filled with pure delight. With courage and love, you’ll always find, A sunny day, peace of mind. (Page 2) Deep inside Bella’s bones, the red bone marrow is working hard, creating new superheroes—B cells and T cells! These special cells will help fight the villain! (page 3) The pathogen starts making copies of itself. It thinks it can take over! But here come the first responders: Macrophages! These giant cells swallow up invaders and alert the other heroes! (Page 4) After gobbling up the enemy, the macrophages show pieces of the pathogen, called antigens, to the Helper T cells. This is like sending out an emergency call for backup! (page 5) The B cells hear the call and transform into plasma cells! They start making antibodies, tiny weapons that stick to the pathogens and stop them from spreading. (page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Her body is always ready for the next adventure!

Emma lives in Scarborough with her single mother. They live in an apartment building. Her mom does 2 jobs to make ends meet, however with high rent and cost of living, theyhardly have enough money for food. So one day, along with her mom, Emma goes to the local foodbank that is run by Feed Scarborough. At the foodbank, while Emma was waiting in one corner reading some fun books, while her mom was shopping at the foodbank, Emma saw a racoon walking around, playing with an apple. Emma started talking with the Racoon. Racoon told Emma that his name is Dignity, and the apple is his friend, named Hope. Dignity told emma all about food insecurity in our community and that she is not the only one who comes to the foodbank. Feed Scarborough's foodbanks are set up like a grocery store, so her mom can pick and choose the food that Emma likes. Dignity also told Emma about so many children, who are not having enough food to eat nowadays as times are tough. Dignity told Emma that better days are coming soon as Toronto's Mayor and Canada's Prime Minister is working together to have better food in school so no children need to study in empty stomach. As dignity was telling Emma these stories, suddenly Emma heard her Mom's voice, calling out to her. As she turned towards the door, she saw her mom asking her to come with her so they can leave the foodbank. As Emma turned back, Dignity and Hope was nowhere to be seen. Was Dignity and Hope real? Were they really there telling Emma the story or were they franction of her imagination, as on the wall, there was a poster of Dignity and Hope (which are the mascots of Feed Scarborough.

They crossed rivers, climbed hills, and tiptoed through a field of sleepy daisies. Finally, they reached the castle. Princess Maya stood at the gate, worried. "A fierce dragon guards the enchanted flower. I need your help to get it back!" Patrick stepped forward bravely. "We’re not afraid, Princess! We’ll face the dragon and save the flower!" The friends nodded, ready for the challenge. They marched to the dragon's cave, where a great, snoring dragon lay. "Let’s try to talk to him first," whispered Melody. Sparky had an idea. Sparky tickled the dragon’s nose with a feather. The dragon woke up with a sneeze that blew Sparky into the air. "Who dares tickle me?" roared the dragon. "We're here for the enchanted flower," said Bramble. "The forest needs its magic." The dragon blinked. "I didn’t know it was so important. I’ll give it back if you promise to visit me. I get lonely." "Of course!" they all agreed. The dragon handed over the enchanted flower, and the forest's magic sparkled brighter than ever. Princess Maya thanked them, and they celebrated with a feast in the castle. They’d always have adventures together and make new friends.
