Her daddy joined them and she was very happy. 6. The city was full of iguanas and she was scared. They went to shopping and her parents bought lots of toys and boks for Ada 7. It was time to go back home. 8. She dreamed of her next holiday.

Henry was a cheerful young boy who loved school, but he faced a challenge that troubled his happy days. Jake, a classmate, often picked on him: stealing his lunch money, mocking him in front of others, and tossing crumpled paper at him during class. Despite this, Henry’s spirit remained unbroken. One evening, Henry shared his troubles with his parents who suggested he speak to his teacher about Jake's behavior. The next day, the teacher spoke to both boys and encouraged Henry to approach Jake with kindness and understanding. Taking her advice to heart, Henry approached Jake and gently asked why he was being mean. Initially hesitant, Jake finally admitted that he felt jealous of Henry's good nature and academic success which made him act out. Touched by Henry's concern rather than anger, Jake apologized for his actions and asked if Henry could help him with his studies. From that day forward, their relationship transformed. With patience and teamwork, they became friends as Henry helped Jake improve academically. Through their story of conflict turned into friendship by compassion and dialogue illustrates the power of empathy and understanding in overcoming adversity.

She was a 10-year-old African American girl with dark skin, big brown eyes and two afro puff ponytails tied with cotton candy looking ribbons. Z'Rica lived with her mom, little sister, and baby sister. They didn't have a home, so the car was their house. The back seat was Z'Rica's bedroom, and she kept her few belongings in a suitcase. Page 2Every day, Z'Rica would go to the library after school. She loved to read and learn new things. The library smelled like old books and felt quiet and peaceful. Z'Rica would get lost in the stories, imagining a different life for herself. She'd read about kids with big houses and loving families, wondering what that would be like. Once upon a sunny day, in a small coastal town, there lived a group of friends named Lily, Max, and Sammy. They were all very excited because today was the day they were going to spend at the beach! As they arrived at the shore, they could hear the sound of waves crashing against the shore and feel the warm sun on their skin. They quickly ran towards the water, giggling with excitement. Lily, being the adventurous one, decided they should build the biggest sandcastle ever seen. Max and Sammy eagerly agreed, and they set off to find the perfect spot. After finding a spot with the finest sand, they began shaping and molding it into towers and walls, with Lily leading the design and Max and Sammy lending their helping hands. With each bucket of sand, their castle grew taller and more magnificent. As they worked, they noticed a group of seagulls flying

Lila, a young elephant, wants to help her mother sell fruits at the market. She learns from different animals about the importance of teamwork, creativity, and making friends with customers. Lila finds a way to attract more customers by creating colorful fruit baskets, showing that even the smallest ideas can make a big difference.

Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.
